Deer Rut Guided Walk

A two-hour guided walk explores why deer rut and how the herd is assessed, with a chance—but no guarantee—of seeing deer.

Walks cross uneven parkland with inclines. The guide explains the rut and how the deer herd is monitored; binoculars may be useful. Meet at the main visitor car park 15 minutes before the walk. Suitable for ages seven and over; children need an accompanying adult. If you plan to visit the House after the walk, separate normal admission applies.
