Mona Marnell Stained Glass - a Mirror

A one-day stained glass workshop with Mona Marnell in which participants make a Tiffany-style mirror, learning to cut, grind, foil and solder glass.

Tutor Mona Marnell leads a small-group day course where students create a Tiffany-style mirror to hang or display. Participants learn how to cut and grind glass to shape, apply copper foil and solder the piece together. The class suits complete beginners as well as those with prior stained glass experience who want to develop 3D skills, and runs from 10am to approximately 4.30pm with plenty of one-to-one guidance; old clothes or an apron are recommended as it can get messy.
