Metal Embossing : Decorate a Trinket Tin & Notebook Cover

A mindful hands-on metal embossing workshop where participants create a decorated trinket tin and an embossed notebook cover.

This two-and-a-half-hour workshop at Shrewsbury Library introduces the art of metal embossing in a relaxed, beginner-friendly setting. Participants create two handmade projects — a decorated trinket tin and an embossed notebook cover — working from templates or their own designs. Techniques covered include line relief, embossing and engraving, with the option to add colour using specialist paints. Everyone leaves with two finished pieces and the skills to continue embossing at home.
