Mindful Mandalas - A Mixed Media Workshop for Children

A two-hour mindful mixed-media workshop where children aged 7+ create their own mandala artwork using drawing, painting and collage.

Shrewsbury Arts & Crafts runs this gentle, creative session at Shrewsbury Library, where children explore the calming world of mandalas through mixed-media art. Using drawing, painting, collage and simple mark-making, they experiment with pattern, colour and texture to make their own circular mandala design. The workshop lasts two hours, is a drop-off session with a DBS-checked art tutor, and is suitable for ages 7 and up. No materials are needed; aprons are provided but old clothes are recommended.
