About

A free one-day Korean pop-up market and exhibitions at stage@leeds, with makers from Seoul and London, craft workshops, food, games and K-pop dance.

stage@leeds is transformed into a Korean market for one day, with booths from makers, brands and artists travelling from Seoul and London. Visitors can see jogakbo patchwork by Jihee Han, minhwa folk painting with a hands-on workshop, handmade miniatures from SL22 Studio, Korean skincare and haircare brands, and try on hanbok. There is also a Korean food stall by HAMA, traditional games including ttakji and Yutnori, and K-pop dance from Leeds K-pop Dance Society. Two exhibitions run alongside: Dr Jihye Park's Flowing Landscapes, translating sansuhwa ink landscapes into AI-driven digital fashion, and Soojin Kang's traditional Korean dotjari mat weaving with a hands-on weaving workshop.
