Echoes, Listen to the Light
About
A free immersive outdoor visual theatre piece by Leeds Beckett students illuminating the Rose Bowl Car Park over two evenings for Light Night Leeds 2026.
Echoes, Listen to the Light is an immersive piece of visual theatre staged in the Rose Bowl Car Park as part of Light Night Leeds 2026, within the Millennium Square Zone. It is created through a large-scale outdoor collaboration between undergraduate and postgraduate students from Leeds Beckett University's Performing Arts, Dance and Choreography, and Theatre and Performance programmes, with contributions from Sound Design and Cinematography students. Designed by Gillian Dyson with Level 5 Performing Arts students, the production features sound design by Ben Winter, Eve Tattersall, Rachel Adams and Ollie Davies. Performances run at 18:30, 19:15 and 20:15 on each of the two evenings, inviting audiences on a journey of light, movement and sound exploring the memories held within the city.
