Woodland Wandering for Wellbeing
About
A guided three-hour wellbeing walk through ancient Kelbrook Wood, ending with a campfire gathering at the Forest School site.
Harwes Farm CIC hosts a morning wandering through Kelbrook Wood, introducing participants to the woodland's biodiversity and the ways trees can support wellbeing, with stretches navigated in silence to encourage noticing surroundings. The pace is set by the trees and the group, and the walk follows footpaths before rounding up at the Forest School site to build a fire. The session closes around the campfire with toasted marshmallows and optional sharing of observations; places are limited to 12 people per session, under-18s must attend with a parent or legal guardian, and an all-weather kit is available to lend.
