Look Club

A monthly hour-long facilitated art discussion session at the Hunterian Art Gallery using Visual Thinking Strategies, with no prior knowledge needed.

Look Club is a monthly discussion session at the Hunterian Art Gallery where participants encounter artworks together without any historical context, sharing opinions and perspectives rather than seeking right answers. The method draws on Visual Thinking Strategies, developed by Abigail Housen and Philip Yenawine, using facilitated discussion of art images to encourage deep thinking and visual literacy. Tea, coffee and biscuits are served, and booking is via Eventbrite.
