pity party: Performance by Michelangelo Miccolis and nick von kleist

A durational closing performance-party in Autumn Knight's exhibition, hosted by Michelangelo Miccolis and nick von kleist with DJ, drinks and audience grievances.

Conceived by Autumn Knight and performed by Michelangelo Miccolis and nick von kleist, this is the final performance in a series accompanying Knight's solo exhibition I Can't Complain, which explores the nuances and pleasures of complaint. The artists host a party in the exhibition space with a DJ, drinks and an invitation for visitors to catch up and air their grievances, slipping in and out of character between hospitality and performance. A live video feed captures the physical manifestations of complaint in close-up and relays the footage into the back gallery. The performance is durational and audiences may come and go at any time between 7 and 10pm.
