In the Round: Duet Emmo + Nik Colk Void
About
Duet Emmo perform live for the first time in a world premiere at the ICA, co-billed with electronic musician Nik Colk Void.
As part of the ICA's October In the Round series, Duet Emmo — the collaboration between Daniel Miller (The Normal) and Wire's Edvard Graham Lewis and B.C. Gilbert — give their first-ever live performance, nearly 45 years after recording their sole album Or So It Seems at Blackwing Studio. The show uses the venue's 360° d&b Soundscape spatial soundsystem. Nik Colk Void, known for her work with Factory Floor and Carter Tutti Void, is co-billed on the same bill, performing her experimental electronic music built from voice, guitar and modular Eurorack systems.
