Where We Are Changes Who We Are – Diana Brown: Workshop
About
An improvisation workshop with Diana Brown exploring how location shapes behaviour, status, emotion and story, open to all levels.
This improvisation workshop, led by Diana Brown, trains players to make environments immediate and theatrically alive, connecting setting directly to emotional behaviour and character choices. Participants practise stating the obvious boldly, treating location as a playable partner, and letting spatial awareness and environmental specificity generate tension and clarify stakes. The session suits improvisers seeking stronger openings and more grounded scenes, and all experience levels are welcome, though some improv experience is helpful.
