Game is Everywhere – A Workshop on Simplifying Game of the Scene – Alex Holland

An intermediate improv workshop with Alex Holland demystifying and simplifying Game of the Scene into playable comedic terms.

This workshop tackles Game of the Scene, an improv concept often seen as heady and prescriptive, reframing it as simply noticing what is funny in what you have done and choosing to focus on it. Alex Holland aims to demystify the theory and translate it into playable terms suited to each performer's own style, helping improvisers move from being accidentally funny to intentionally comedic. It is aimed at intermediate improvisers who are confident performing committed scenes. Alex Holland is an award-winning comedian and headteacher at The Free Association improv theatre in London.
