Joe Bill: The Bat

A longform improv workshop with Joe Bill exploring The Bat, a format played with eyes closed in a darkened theatre, aimed at experienced improvisers.

Joe Bill leads a workshop on The Bat, his signature longform improv format in which players perform a 'radio play' with their eyes closed while the audience watches in a darkened theatre. The format can draw on both Narrative and Freestyle longform sensibilities, shaped by the personalities of the players. The session is aimed at intermediate-level experienced improvisers familiar with longform.
