Glenn Jones / Liam Grant / Sam Grassie

An evening of American Primitive and fingerstyle guitar music with Glenn Jones, Liam Grant and Sam Grassie at Bishops' House, Sheffield.

A triple bill of acoustic guitar music presented by Sonido Polifonico. Headliner Glenn Jones, formerly of Cul De Sac, is one of the foremost American Primitive guitarists, with a solo career spanning two and a half decades and ten acclaimed albums for guitar and banjo. He is joined by New England guitarist Liam Grant, whose modal epics and uptempo rags draw on the Takoma Records tradition, and Scottish fingerstyle guitarist and songwriter Sam Grassie, whose debut album 'Where Two Hawks Fly' has been championed across BBC radio. Doors open at 7:00pm with the music starting at 7:30pm; the event is all ages with under-16s accompanied by an adult.
