Sairie plus support from Zandra

Acid-folk trio Sairie launch their debut album Beneath the Spreading Tree at Bishops' House, with support from Zandra.

Brighton acid-folk trio Sairie — Emma Morton, Jon Griffin and Andy Thomas — play Bishops' House with support from Zandra, presenting material from their first full-length album Beneath the Spreading Tree. Their stripped-back, otherworldly songs draw on ghosts, fairies and tragic love, echoing early-1970s acid and psychedelic folk. The band have released two 7-inch singles and two EPs, including The Cinder Sheet EP, which Stewart Lee praised in The Idler Magazine.
