Public Graduate School Lecture: Mike Berners-Lee

Mike Berners-Lee gives a free public lecture and Q&A on what it will take to address the climate and nature crisis, hosted during CAT's postgraduate teaching week.

Mike Berners-Lee, author of There Is No Planet B and A Climate of Truth, delivers a public lecture titled '2026: What will it actually take to head off bad times and look after each other and the planet' during the Centre for Alternative Technology's postgraduate teaching week. The talk and Q&A explore where opportunities for collective action lie, considering how truth, courage and deep systemic thinking can enable change amid overlapping global crises. The hour-and-a-half session takes place in the Sheppard Theatre, with an optional prebookable £10 vegetarian meal served beforehand and Donnelly's bar open afterwards; the recording is for student use only.
