Author Tom Bowser talks about becoming the first landowner in Britain to legally release beavers into the wild, as part of the A Blether O Books festival.
Writer, farmer and journalist Tom Bowser recounts how a family of beavers was relocated to his Central Scotland farm in 2021, making him the first landowner in Britain to legally release beavers into the wild. Against a visual backdrop he describes the support gained, the opposition overcome and the benefits the beavers brought to his farm. The talk is part of the A Blether O Books book festival and draws on his book Waters of Life: Fighting for Scotland's Beavers.
