Kelham Makes: Festive Wreath Making
About
An evening wreath-making workshop at Kelham Island Museum where floral designer Emma McGeehan teaches traditional floristry to make a fresh Christmas door wreath.
Sheffield Museums host their popular festive wreath-making evening in the atmospheric setting of Kelham Island Museum. Floral designer Emma McGeehan of Orchis Floral Design instructs participants in traditional floristry techniques to create a fresh Christmas door wreath, using locally sourced biodegradable foliage and decorations so no two wreaths are alike. Hot drinks and mince pies are provided, and all materials are included; the session welcomes complete beginners through to experts and lasts two and a half hours.
