About
A two-hour sustainable dyeing workshop at Kelham Island Museum where participants create naturally dyed fabric samples using seasonal ingredients.
Led by textile artist Andrea Akers of Linen & Leaf, this hands-on workshop explores how to extract colour sustainably from seasonal kitchen, garden and hedgerow ingredients. Participants learn how to prepare fabrics for colour fastness and leave with a range of naturally dyed samples for their own craft practice. No experience is needed and all materials are provided; the session runs for two hours.
