Philharmonia Concert: The Lark Ascending and Beethoven's Sixth

The Philharmonia performs Vaughan Williams's The Lark Ascending, with Clara-Jumi Kang as solo violinist, followed by Beethoven's 'Pastoral' Symphony No. 6. The programme is themed around nature, from the lark's shimmering solo violin melodies to Beethoven's musical depiction of countryside streams, birdsong, a village gathering and a thunderstorm. The concert takes place in the Main Auditorium with full flat seating, with doors and the bar opening at 7:00pm.
