The Oxford University Orchestra joins conductor Rémy Ballot at the Sheldonian Theatre for Wagner's Die Meistersinger Overture and Bruckner's Fourth Symphony.

The Oxford University Orchestra (OUO) is joined by conductor Rémy Ballot for a programme of Wagner and Bruckner. The concert opens with Wagner's stately 'Die Meistersinger' Overture, followed by Bruckner's Symphony No. 4, the composer's self-dubbed 'Romantic' symphony evoking medieval hunting scenes and the Austrian wilderness. The concert runs two hours, from 8pm to 10pm, with doors at 7:30pm, and is suitable for all ages.
