A 90-minute guided walking tour of the upper part of Winchester, led by a professional guide from Winchester Area Tourist Guides. The route takes in historical sites including the Cathedral, High Street, Westgate and Great Hall, finishing at the original Winchester Castle site, which was also the location of King Charles II's palace. The tour runs rain or shine and the upper part of the city is fairly steep, so sensible footwear is advised; well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome.
