Winter Layers: Print and Collage

A three-week Friday course for adults exploring monoprinting, textured prints and collage to create mixed-media artworks inspired by winter.

This three-week creative course for adults (18+) runs on Fridays from 10am to 2pm, starting 13 November and ending 27 November 2026. Week one covers simple printmaking techniques such as monoprinting and textured printing to build a library of papers and surfaces; week two focuses on collage techniques including composition, image transfer and layering; week three brings ideas together into a finished mixed-media artwork. All materials are provided and no experience is needed. The course is taught by Leicestershire artist and educator Jo Shearer.
