Weekday Wonderings Talk with Andy Skinner: The Story of St Mary's Workhouse

Historian Andy Skinner gives a talk on Southampton's St Mary's workhouse, its origins, building and inhabitants, in the Georgian Room at Tudor House & Garden.

Part of the Weekday Wonderings programme from Southampton City Council Cultural Services, this talk explores the history of Southampton's workhouse in the St Mary's neighbourhood. Historian Andy Skinner examines the workhouse's origin and building and the stories of the people who lived there. The session runs 11am to 12.30pm in the Georgian Room, and the ticket includes museum admission on the day.
