A hands-on family history day exploring Saxon and Viking clothing, writing and crafts.

Jo of the Woven Owl and Schools Without Walls lead a hands-on day exploring Saxon and Viking textiles, runes and ink. Participants make a woven wristband or wall hanging and a runic talisman, handle real and replica objects, and try a shield-wall activity.
