Beginners Oil Painting Workshop

A relaxed, beginner-friendly oil painting workshop at QueerSwap Studio where participants are guided step-by-step to create their own painting.

This two-hour workshop introduces oil painting to complete beginners and anyone exploring a new medium. Participants are guided step-by-step through creating their own painting, learning colour mixing, blending, brush techniques and layering, with all materials provided and a finished painting to take home. The emphasis is on experimenting and enjoying the process rather than producing a perfect result. Tea and coffee are available, and the studio is wheelchair accessible with a quiet space and step-free access.
