Ímar

Award-winning Irish/Manx/Scottish folk quintet Ímar bring their high-energy Celtic fusion live show to Tolbooth Stirling.

The BBC Radio 2 Folk Award-winning quintet Ímar, made up of current and former members of Mànran, Mec Lir, RURA and Talisk, perform a live concert at Tolbooth Stirling. The band features Adam Brown on bodhrán, Adam Rhodes on bouzouki, Mohsen Amini on concertina, Ryan Murphy on uilleann pipes and Tomás Callister on fiddle, blending Irish, Scottish and Manx traditions into a genre-defying contemporary folk sound. Their set draws on material including their critically acclaimed 2023 album Awakening.
