Wildlife Rangers (12–16 year olds)
About
A school-holiday Wildlife Rangers session for ages 12–16 with wildlife surveys, habitat conservation and country crafts at Tilgate Park.
A four-hour Wildlife Rangers session for young people aged 12–16, outdoors during the school holidays. Participants learn about local wildlife, carry out practical conservation to improve habitats, survey and monitor plants and animals, garden for wildlife and try country crafts. Drop-off is at 10:00 and collection at 14:00. Meet outside the toilet block by the main car park at Tilgate Park; the group then moves to other areas of the park, so late arrivals may not find it. The organiser provides a Google map for the meeting point and a separate map for the main pay-and-display car park. Bring a packed lunch, mug, water, suitable layers and sturdy footwear; the group is outdoors in all weather. Registrations have closed; the published ticket price was £11.
