Call the Midwife 0fficial Location Tour

A guided location tour at The Historic Dockyard Chatham showing where Call the Midwife is filmed, led by a costumed midwife with access to sets, costumes and props.

Run in partnership with Neal Street Productions, this is the only official Call the Midwife location tour in the world, exploring the Chatham dockyard streets that double as Poplar in the BBC series. Visitors walk the site with a costumed midwife guide carrying a photograph book, passing recognisable spots such as the Grosvenor Hotel and 'Chummy's Hill'. The tour also includes time to explore sets, costumes and props in an exclusive gallery. The tour runs from March to October 2026.
