Bristol Grammar School Concert
About
Bristol Grammar School students perform a programme spanning Tallis, Palestrina, Zimmer and Brian Wilson classics at St George's Bristol.
Bristol Grammar School's concert, Standing on the Shoulders of Giants, explores musical connections across the centuries. The first half features orchestral, choral and chamber performances by the school's young musicians, including works by Zimmer, Puccini, Haydn and Dvořák. After the interval, Renaissance polyphony by Allegri, Tallis and Palestrina is paired with Brian Wilson classics such as God Only Knows and Good Vibrations, alongside songs by Olivia Rodrigo and Bat For Lashes. The evening is suitable for all ages.
