Seema Mattu: Local Superstar II

Seema Mattu’s installation brings music, sculpture, film and digital animation together to explore collective creativity and musical congregation.

Local Superstar II follows the formation of Saheli, a sonic collective of five South Asian queer women. Visitors can board a tour bus to watch films about auditions, rehearsals and jam sessions, then use interactive instruments to make music alongside the band. The exhibition considers collaboration, care and creative freedom through music, sculpture, film and digital animation. On view in the Foyer Gallery. FACT states all its exhibitions are free.
