In the Mix

Film Hub North presents four queer short films by Northern filmmakers, with a filmmaker panel, Q&A and an informal mixer.

This touring programme brings together queer stories of desire, family, identity and relationships. The four films are Gitika Buttoo’s Before I Do(2024), Em Gilbertson’s Lonelier Than Love(2026), Stuart Armstrong’s Meat Raffle(2025) and Dominic Leclerc’s All the Lights Still Burning(2023). The evening includes a filmmaker panel and Q&A; individual panel members are not named.

Doors open at 16:15. Films are screened in The Box from 16:30 to 18:00, followed by an informal mixer in the Picturehouse Bar from 18:00. Admission is strictly 18+ and booking is required.
