Karine Polwart’s Curiosity Cabinet

Karine Polwart performs songs, ballads and covers inspired by Glasgow's museum collections over two nights at Kelvingrove as part of Celtic Connections.

Over two nights, songwriter and storyteller Karine Polwart curates a programme of her own songs, traditional ballads and classic covers with a Glasgow twist, drawing on the city's museums, archives and historic sites — from St Mungo's Well and the Necropolis to iconic Kelvingrove and Hunterian exhibits including Sir Roger the Asian elephant. She is joined by Dave Milligan on piano and special guests. The show forms part of the Celtic Connections 2027 festival.
