Intro to Burlesque Course

A four-week beginners burlesque course taught by award-winning performer Aurora Nova, teaching classic moves like struts, bump 'n' grind and glove peels.

This four-week course introduces beginners to the key elements of burlesque, taught by international performer Aurora Nova. Weekly one-hour sessions cover showgirl struts, bump 'n' grind, chair work and glove and stocking peels in a friendly, non-judgemental setting. The course is open to anyone aged 18+ of all body types, genders and abilities, with no previous dance experience required. Participants should bring thigh-high stockings, long gloves and a scarf; heels are encouraged but optional.
