MAKE-DAY: Cloisonné Enamelling

A one-day workshop at FORGE where participants learn cloisonné vitreous enamelling to create a sterling silver pendant, suitable for all levels.

Led by award-winning enamel artist Linda Connelly, this full-day class teaches vitreous enamelling and cloisonné wire techniques. Participants form wires for their design, transfer them to a sterling silver disc, build up and blend layers of enamel, then grind and polish the surface to a finish. Beginners and experienced makers are both welcome, and attendees may also bring unfinished pieces from home for advice.
