Hole House Bag Making – 'Sew Your Own Satchel Bag' with Emma Redfern
About
A two-day sewing workshop at Greystoke Craft Garden and Barns where Emma Redfern of Hole House Bags helps participants make their own personalised satchel bag.
Emma Redfern of Hole House Bags leads a two-day workshop in which participants sew their own satchel, a traditional bag shape that can be worn cross body or on the shoulder. Working in tweed or canvas-weight fabric, attendees choose details such as flap shape, closure, number of pockets, size and colour-blocking options, and stitch a fully adjustable fabric strap. Suitable for adventurous beginners and intermediate sewists who can confidently use their own sewing machine; specialist materials, written instructions and a paper pattern to take home are provided.
