'Loose Botanicals in Watercolours' with an optional hint of Christmas ...with Lyn Evans
About
A one-day watercolour workshop with Lyn Evans teaching loose botanical painting techniques, with an optional Christmas theme.
Artist Lyn Evans leads a day of loose botanical watercolour painting, working largely from life with blooms such as irises, lilies and tulips, or from photographs where flowers change quickly. She teaches step-by-step techniques in the morning, letting pigment and water work with minimal interference, and introduces additional tools including pens, inktense and watercolour pencils, salt and twigs for varied effects. Some basic watercolour experience is preferred but not essential, and participants should leave with at least one finished piece. Students provide their own materials.
