About

Folk trio Harp and a Monkey perform their War Stories show of songs and World War I recordings at the Samuel Worth Chapel on Remembrance Sunday.

Harp and a Monkey present War Stories, a matinee show originally commissioned for the World War I centenary that blends traditional and original songs with sound recordings of those who lived through the conflict. Frontman Martin Purdy, a World War I historian and author, adds storytelling while wall projections accompany the performance. The show is suitable for all ages and is staged as a fundraising event for Sheffield General Cemetery Trust.
