About
The final symposium conversation examines the superhero as a figure shaped by war, conflict and resistance. Speakers consider how violence is processed and reimagined through comedy and popular culture, and how self-representation and political aesthetics can support collective meaning-making. Dr Anna Adima chairs a discussion with Dr Bernadette Buckley, Dr Vivienne Jabri and Abiba Coulibaly.
