This six-week evening course at SkandiHus's Walthamstow studio teaches pottery skills from hand building and wheel throwing to surface decoration and glazing, with each week focusing on a different technique alongside time for practice and experimentation. It is suitable for complete beginners and makers with prior experience, taught by Emilia Ericsson. All materials are provided, including buff stoneware clay, tools, slips and in-house glazes, with clay charged at £5 per kilogram for firing. The classes are pitched as a relaxed, social environment to learn skills, meet people and enjoy meditative making.
