About
Take unlimited rides on the museum’s demonstration line behind vintage diesel locomotives, a Class 101 DMU or the diesel railbus; the miniature railway is planned to run on most Diesel Days.
The event combines diesel-hauled heritage train rides with access to the museum’s railway buildings, restoration shed, displays and playground. The museum is open 10:00–17:00 on this October event day. Rides run approximately 10:30–15:00 with no fixed timetable. The Platform Two Café is open 10:00–16:00; winter food service ends at 14:00.
