In the Footsteps of Mudlarks: Limehouse

A guided Thames foreshore session at Limehouse where participants search for archaeological artefacts revealed by the river.

Thames Explorer Trust leads a session on the Thames foreshore at Limehouse, where participants can look for archaeological artefacts such as smoking pipes, pottery and bones uncovered by the river. The walk meets outside the Yurt Cafe in the grounds of the Royal Foundation of St. Katharine before descending the stone steps to the foreshore. Proceeds support the trust's schools' programmes. Children aged 8 and over may attend if accompanied by an adult, with a maximum of two children per adult.
