Help a Community Grocer
About
GoodGym Barnet volunteers help North Finchley Community Grocery move its Monday food delivery into St Barnabas Church.
GoodGym Barnet is running a practical volunteering task supporting North Finchley Community Grocery, which provides affordable food and support to local members. Volunteers help pull, push and carry a heavy delivery up a ramp and into the store at St Barnabas Church, so supplies are ready for the community. The task involves manual handling of heavy items, so participants should be comfortable with lifting and carrying, and gloves are provided. The session is led by George Ttoouli and is open to adults aged 18 or over, with a small number of places available.
