Willow Weaving: Christmas Decorations

Experienced weaver Julie Gurr teaches traditional willow techniques for making hanging baubles and festive stars.

On this half-day workshop, Julie Gurr teaches participants to weave four or five pieces to take home. The group makes hanging willow baubles using a technique also used for corn dollies, as well as festive stars, and learns about growing and preparing willow for weaving.
