Sikh Soldier Commemoration

A commemoration at the Sikh Soldier statue in Greenhead Park paying respects to fallen Sikh and Commonwealth soldiers, followed by the Armistice Day procession and service.

The Sikh Soldier Organisation invites everyone to meet at the Sikh Soldier statue in the Rose Garden, next to the conservatory, to pay their respects to fallen Sikh and Commonwealth soldiers and learn more about the sacrifices they made in both World Wars. At 10.30am the commemoration is followed by the annual Armistice Day procession from the Trinity Street gates to the War Memorial for a short service, two minutes silence and the laying of wreaths.
