Victorian Sketch Club: Toys & Games – imagination in the Victorian nursery

A relaxed two-hour sketching session in the Victorian Kitchen themed around Victorian toys and games, open to all abilities.

This sketch club session takes place in the Victorian Kitchen at Holst Victorian House, with a still life composition of toys, games and ephemera arranged around the theme of the Victorian nursery. Guided by artist Martha Kelsey, it opens with 30 minutes of drawing warm-ups, after which participants can draw from the composition or elsewhere in the house. Tea, coffee and materials are provided; paints and charcoals are not permitted in the museum.
