In the Footsteps of Mudlarks: Sunday 1st November 2026, Limehouse

A guided Thames foreshore session at Limehouse where participants search for archaeological artefacts and learn about the river's history.

Thames Explorer Trust leads a session on the Thames foreshore at Limehouse, where participants can look for archaeological artefacts such as smoking pipes, pottery and bones revealed by the river. The walk meets outside the Yurt Cafe at St Katharine's Precinct before descending the stone steps to the foreshore. Children aged 8 and over may attend when accompanied by an adult, with a maximum of two children per adult, and proceeds support the trust's schools' programmes.
