A Halloween season at the Lost Gardens of Heligan with historic falconry displays, spooky storytelling, a relaxed session and evening ghost tours and folk horror screenings.
Halloween at Heligan runs from 24 October to 1 November 2026 with a darker-than-usual programme across the estate. By day, Raphael Historic Falconry present daily shows exploring the natural world through Victorian eyes, blending medieval myth with scientific enlightenment, alongside live retellings of the Brothers Grimm's macabre original tales. A relaxed session for guests with disabilities or additional needs is held on Tuesday 27 October from 9am. Evenings feature limited-capacity ghost tours and the Folk Horror Film Festival, eight nights of screenings preceded by a lantern-lit trail through the gardens.
