A five-week after-school art club for 8–12 year olds exploring coastal soils through microscopes, led by Soil Craft.

Children aged 8–12 join the After School Art Club at Hastings Contemporary for five weekly sessions investigating the tiny ecosystems within coastal soils. Led by the Soil Craft team, participants learn to use a microscope, examine soil samples and create artwork inspired by their findings using a range of materials. Sessions run 4–5pm on five consecutive Thursdays; parents cannot stay but the café remains open until 5pm.
