Off-Circuit: Everything Else is Noise

UK premiere of Nicolás Pereda's minimalist Mexican comedy Everything Else is Noise, with an in-person Q&A after the 27 November screening.

Nicolás Pereda's 71-minute chamber comedy, screening in Spanish with English subtitles, follows musician Rosa, who borrows her friend Teresa's Mexico City apartment for a television interview. When journalist Lázaro and cameraman Paco arrive, the shoot is derailed by a series of comically banal frustrations. The film explores shifting power dynamics, gender tensions within artistic circles and the costs of artistic independence. The UK premiere screening on Friday 27 November is followed by an in-person Q&A with director Nicolás Pereda.
